Alchemy (Arabic:al-kimia) (Hebrew:אלכימיה al-himia) is both a philosophy and a practice with an aim of achieving ultimate wisdom as well as immortality, involving the improvement of the alchemist as well as the making of several substances described as possessing unusual properties. 

This class investigates each of the Four Sacred Elements - Water, Earth, Air and Fire.  The Fifth Element is the power of our SPIRIT to work with and through these elements.

For the magician, or even the alchemist, the universe is perceived as a reflection of the imagination of the Godhead. Its laws are consistent and logical, and if we are created in the image of the Creator, then we can also create as the Creator has - through the power of imagination. 

Intense imagination creates a stress on the ‘fabric' of the universe, drawing to it magnetic power, thus bringing our images to fruition. In this experiential class we will begin our journey of transformation by meeting and seeking to understand the power of each great Elemental - through intellectual study, meditational exercises, Art-as-Meditation work, and ritual; each student will enter into the Element and feel its power.
