Growing up and living solely in university towns: Ann Arbor, Cambridge, Berkeley, and Boulder, Melissa is a perpetual student, and a lover of learning.

Melissa began her career in management at eighteen years of age. She attended the ICCC School of Management and went on to manage a large Californian Coop.

Through her extensive collection of workshops and seminars, Melissa's demonstrated leadership has helped many hundreds of people achieve optimum life skills, enhance leadership, and develop coherence and peaceful practices throughout their lives and work.

Melissa assumes that unless the interior body (spiritual and emotional) is cleansed, healed, and balanced, whatever leadership skills or training techniques she imparts to the external body will not hold and will most likely become corrupt over time. Therefore she teaches the spirituality of labor and the labors of spiritual practice.

Her approach is warm, friendly, and power-full.

Melissa has worked as a wellness evangelist and healer for over 30 years. She began by attending the Platonic Herbal Academy. She added to her skill sets: Bach Flower Practitioner certification and Usui Reiki through Master level.

Melissa has studied with top healing professionals throughout the world.

She uses her geology background to understand and use crystals in therapeutic settings, particularly in the treatment of migraines using Arum Manus techniques. All of her sessions employ the BioMat®.

Melissa attended the University of Michigan pursuing a BS in geology that she never finished because she opened a restaurant in Harvard Square instead.. Later she attended The Institute in Culture and Creation Spirituality where she received a MA certification in Deep Ecumenism (the commonality of religions) and minored in Art-As-Meditation. Melissa continued her certification process at The Institute of Spiritual Direction. Since 1994 she has maintained a practice as a Spiritual Director.

In 2002 Melissa completed the Jewish Healing Program of Chochmat HaLev. She is a committed student of the Kabbalah.

Studying under Vickie Nobel, Angeles Arrien, Rachael Pollack, Mary K. Greer, and Rabbi Steven Fisdel. Melissa is an expert in Tarot and Divination - and uses this mystical art throughout her client work.

Melissa is also a certified horse healer and masseuse, and served her internship with Cavalia - an offshoot of Cirque de Solei. Melissa soon discovered horses heal better when their riders are treated in conjunction with them. Go to www.hoofinhand.com for further details.

Melissa found that her work with horses and the non-predatory nature of the herd translates well into the world of human interactions and she now incorporates her 'horse sense' into her leadership trainings and personal coaching.

Melissa now lives in Boulder, CO, after many years in Berkeley, California. She teaches domestically and internationally, and has a passion for the Global Ethic and The Parliament of World Religions.

She lives to serve her two cats, Salem and Kefir. Loves to sing and write. Laughs at the folly of mankind, and thinks we should give womenkind a go. If mankind truly wants to bring in the Divine Feminine - her advice is to read women's books and take what they say seriously.

Melissa is an ENTJ, a Pisces, a 7 on the Enneagram, and an artist. Being a 7 she has acquired a LOT of skill sets due to living many life times at once.
